Christen is currently a Spanish graduate student and TA at St. Louis University. Also fluent in Haitian Kreyol, she and her husband fell in love not only with each other but with the people, country, and their twin goddaughters in Haiti (one of them pictured here with Christen) in 2005.
Co-Founder, Board Member
Rodney is currently a Psychiatry Resident at St. Louis University Hospital. As philospher and physician, he and his wife, Christen Parker, work to maintain a preferential option for those in need through practical action and advocacy.
In-Country Coordinator
Samuel coordinates MPM Haiti’s projects on-site in Haiti - from building relationships with families to buying fabric for uniforms. He always has a file of ideas for new projects and provides constant communication and inspiration to us all.
Samuel is part surveyor, part social worker, and all goodness.
Board Member
Melissa is the Graduate Support Director at De La Salle Middle School in St. Louis, MO. She swims over a mile a day and has spent years of her life working on behalf of the disadvantaged with unbelievable energy.
Communications Director, Board Member
Jacqueline is a Communications Specialist. Her first trip to Haiti over Thanksgiving 2009 inspired her to use her creativity, fundraising and marketing experience for a greater good.

Laurie will teach mathematics this school year at Carol Morgan International School in Santo Domingo. We are delighted to have her “on site” in Hispañola just across the border from Haiti. She is confident that Moun Pou Moun’s efforts will make for a brighter future in Haiti.

Chris is a Flight Test Engineer for The Boeing Company. His global activism is long-standing, having spent substantial time in Nepal with the Nepalese Children’s Education Fund. His contributions to Moun Pou Moun Haiti include both charitable leadership and annual sponsorship of students, one of whom recently graduated from teacher’s college.
